Q uses images in there contents page to connect with the articles featured, Using an image with the page number embossed on it there is also more information down the sides with the page number to give you a brief idea about what the article covers.
The pictures used are very clear and stand out; some also link with the article like the Take that image. There are also pictures of double page spreads of live performances.
The text is very clear and easy to read making the page number and headline bold then using a smaller text for additional information. There is also a small piece that is called Q review this is in red text as is an extract from under the q awards, this is these different sort of topics than are what usually featured, they need to stand out more because the reader is not expecting them to be included. Q uses a double contents page to make everything look less jammed in also to make articles stand out a lot more fully. The magazine is very clear and easy to read all charters are a very safe readable style.
