Mixmag double page spread
Mixmag has chosen to uses many pictures from live gigs to link with the theme The most amazing shows in dance music, the main image is of a DJ he is in a cage this is very different than other dance gigs and its obviously very special the light show looks fantastic and its obvious a dance audience would find this exciting. There are also two other smaller images one of a medium close up of the DJ this is to give you a clear look at him as in the other picture he is obscured by the cage. The other image is showing him using his equipment inside the cage this is a good image because it will interest other DJ in showing the equipment he uses.
The pull quote is also very good as it uses word like “behind the scenes”, “spectacular” and “stun” this will overwhelm the readers into reading the full article and gives you the idea that these gigs really are phenomenal.
The text is very bold and uses capital letters persistently; there is also smaller text for the question and answer section because there is a lot more text.
This double page spread links very well with the dance scene it will excite the reader as it really does look like an amazing gig the text is very neat and clear and the colours don’t clash.
